Q: How do I install a CAB file to my phone?

A: Copy the CAB file to your Windows Mobile device, open a file manager, click on the file...this should start the installer.

Q: How do I install a PRC file to my phone?

A: Install Palm Desktop on your computer, connect your phone, double-click on the PRC file...this should start the installer.

Q: How do I install an MSI file?

A: Download the MSI file your Windows XP or greater machine, double-click on the MSI file...this should start the installer.

Q: PhoneLog does not appear to log anything to the calendar.

A: This is most likely caused by having wrong permission settings.  The easiest fix is to uninstall the application, reinstall it and when prompted for permissions choose 'Allow'.  Another option is to go to the phone's Options - > Advanced Options -> Applications, highlight PhoneLog, press the Menu button and select Edit Permissions.  Browse through the permissions and make sure that Phone is set to Allow and all of the User Data settings are set to Allow.

Q: My Blackberry application does not appear to connect to the Internet.

A: This can be caused by a few things, first ensure your phone has Internet access; try use the built-in web browser to access a web page. Then check the connection settings for the application you are using, some users may not have access to use the default Direct TCP/IP settings and may be required to supply APN connection settings.
